The owners of Lilly Guest Inn were the highlight—friendly, generous, and warm. My room offered a great view and was very clean, and the common area had plenty of tables and chairs. Breakfast was solid, with both western and Sri Lankan options, and when rain kept me inside one night they even cooked dinner for me. It sits just outside Haputale and is easy to reach by tuktuk. The WiFi was spotty, but I had a data SIM so it didn’t bother me.

Everything about the stay was fantastic. Raheem kindly upgraded us to a family room that was surprisingly spacious, comfortable, bright, and relaxing. The food was delicious, fresh, and satisfying. The staff’s friendliness and family‑like treatment made the hospitality the best part. The location was convenient, with Haputale town only about 10 minutes away. Overall, it was a peaceful, comfortable, memorable experience and we felt well taken care of the whole time. Nothing was lacking; we would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Lily Guest Inn in Haputale. The property is beautiful, quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The spot is ideal for enjoying the cool Haputale climate and the stunning mountain views. The hospitality was truly exceptional; the hosts were friendly, kind, and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our visit. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and everything was thoughtfully arranged. What made our stay even more special was the warm, personal service. We really enjoyed our time here and made some lovely family memories.
