“This facility is sorry they’re booking. The cost was not upfront about how much it was.”

There was nothing positive to mention. First, I was told the total for my stay was a certain price, but upon arrival it turned out to be higher because of a deposit I had asked about beforehand; they insisted the quoted total was correct. Then, check‑in was delayed because their system was down and they were short‑staffed, so I didn’t receive fresh towels until the last night even after requesting them. They told me to hang my dirty towel on my door and promised to bring clean ones. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, roaches were present, and the shower curtain rod was hanging by a single thread. I parked a truck with a small trailer in the back so I could see my tools; the first night I was told it was fine, but the second night a staff member said parking the truck there would cost $20 per night; otherwise I had to park it in front of the hotel on the road for free, which was insecure. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone; it was the worst I have ever stayed in, but there were no other options at the time, so we stayed. I’m glad to be out of there.

The rooms were cleaned and the beds were well made; the front desk staff was very pleasant and friendly. I had to call a phone number to get someone to the front desk, and the lady who arrived was very nice and seemed to be the only one there, doing her best to manage everything alone. Signs everywhere warned “no smoking” or a $250 fine, yet the entire facility smelled of marijuana and people were very noisy, sounding like banging walls and screaming all night long. Overall, the rooms were clean as described, but I wouldn’t recommend it except for the lady at the front desk, who deserves a raise; they need more staff and less of that marijuana smell.
