Francesca was very kind and helpful. She recommended a restaurant called Lombardi, which turned out to be a great find, especially for its excellent pizzas. The room and cleanliness were superb, and the breakfast Francesca prepared for us every day was abundant and varied. The location is good and you’re about 15‑20 minutes from the heart of Naples. If we return, we’ll definitely stay again.

The apartment itself is great, perfect location in the old town, very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice small balcony to dry clothes. The cleaning lady was just rude, disrespectful and incompetent: the shower wasn’t clean when we arrived, one towel had a stain, she threw away an open chocolate we’d opened the previous day and was still half full, rearranged all our personal belongings so we had to search for our stuff—including expensive diving equipment we left in an open bag to dry—she closed it and threw in my wooden knitting needles (being wet is harmful for them). She ignored the do‑not‑disturb sign and banged loudly on the door—woke us up. I could go on for hours… In short: if you mind your personal belongings and your private space, don’t go here (or don’t let the cleaning lady in). The apartment is on the 4th floor and the lift costs 20 cents per ride.

The place is comfortable for visiting the centre. The room and bathroom are very large. Not far from the station (10 minutes walk) and a stone’s throw from Museo Madre. The host is very kind and ready to solve any problems. Water, juices, coffee and yogurt are always available. The room is very quiet thanks to double glazing. The only suggestion I can give about breakfast is to include something typical Neapolitan like sfogliatelle! Also, I’d suggest the host to indicate that communication should be through WhatsApp; on Booking he doesn’t respond immediately. The elevator costs 20 cents per ride (not dependent on the property, it’s the same in many Napoli places) but the host left us coins at least for rides with luggage.

Very spacious and clean room. Good location. Friendly host. Everything is easily reachable. Charming building. Lots of restaurants nearby. I missed fresh bread at breakfast; maybe it’s typical Italian but a bit too pre‑packed. Still very tidy and everything present. For the lift you have to pay 20 cents, very many stairs in the building.

I arrived at the place at 1 am, and the owner still greeted us with a smile. The breakfasts were varied, drinks were kept in the fridge, and the Wi‑Fi worked flawlessly.
