It’s close to the beach, but the hotel has a lot of potential that’s hampered by many problems. Rooms stayed dirty for 4 days of my stay, the beds were hard and uncomfortable, trash wasn’t taken out of rooms, there was no safe deposit box, sockets and lights didn’t work, no hot water in the bathroom, and the mirror was broken.

With a bit of elbow grease, White@Sea Resort could be the crown jewel of Ban Phe. It's close to the beach, has a charming restaurant nearby, and is teeming with wildlife, from birds to deer and cows grazing right outside. The staff were friendly, and the taxis knew exactly where to find the resort. The room was clean, with a functional aircon and fridge, but the bathroom could have done with a good scrub. The veranda had a great view, but the furniture was a bit lacking.
