“Nous avons bien dormi”
The receptionist was very friendly and the bedding was comfortable. The bathroom trash bin wasn’t emptied, and the shower gel and hand wash were missing.

Having a restaurant (Kebab with many options) was a plus that made me choose this place to stay in the area rich in World War I monuments. Parking was easy, and access via major roads was convenient. The only downside was a shared toilet on the landing, but my room had its own shower bathroom.

Honestly there wasn’t much to praise, but the price was very low – a four‑person room for €50, so you can’t expect a luxury hotel and it was pretty disappointing; the sheets were freshly laundered, the beds weren’t terrible, and the room was somewhat clean. We booked two double rooms for a total of €110 and were offered that four‑person room for one night, which was a nice gesture. However, there was no dinner or breakfast because the chef wasn’t there – something not mentioned on the site – and the take‑away pizzeria and bakery they pointed us to were unhygienic and only opened at 14:00, leaving us with nothing. The lobby smelled of sweaty feet, a scent that drifted into the room when we opened the window, so we kept it shut while sleeping; there was no toilet seat, and the location was essentially nowhere (we hadn’t even chosen it, it was just a single night stay).

I couldn’t even get into the hotel, so I had to turn back on the road from home. There was no access code and nobody answered the number on the door, so I hope I’m not charged.

The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. The manager was very friendly. However, the bathroom needs a refresh, the power outlets are lacking, and there’s no breakfast, which is a shame especially since there’s nothing nearby for a quick coffee.
