So I showed up and the hotel claimed they had no rooms available, which was pretty frustrating. They basically told me to contact the booking agent, which didn't help. Not exactly the warm welcome I was hoping for.

The hotel staff rejected my reservation, which was pretty surprising. No explanation or apology, just a flat no. Not a great experience from the get-go.
