The restaurant was well stocked and suitable for a family with young children, with services neatly organized and within easy reach, except the beach was not close to the property. The train ride to the sea was a bit uncomfortable, especially for a family with little ones; perhaps it could be improved to make the resort even more welcoming and equipped.

The resort sits in a good spot for reaching the sights and offers transport services for those of us who want to explore. The organization is flawless, with staff following you in everything. Minor hiccups occurred but were resolved quickly, showing customer care. Great for families who can enjoy activities for both kids and adults, and the food is varied and mostly local. The evening lighting, both at the entrance and inside, is poor, forcing the use of phone flashlights; a modernization would make the resort even more attractive.

The proximity to the sea and the pleasant pools with friendly lifeguards are highlights. Almost no one speaks French, except the night receptionist who was very kind, and thanks to Clarissa for her help when I extended my stay due to the volcano. The lock on my room was never fixed, leaving the door open most of the stay.

The village is very pretty, big but with all services within reach. I didn’t like that the water available to guests was always hot, which was a hardship; fortunately the bar staff were always kind enough to fill our glasses with ice. Another sore point was the line for the train to the beach, where there was no enforcement of turn order, so people who arrived later could overtake those who had been waiting longer.
