“Good hotel with okay amenities. Staff was split in very good then sometimes outright unwelcoming.”

The location is solid overall, and getting around and finding good restaurants was a breeze. The room itself was fine. The pool area seemed intriguing, but it was only open by reservation, which didn’t work out during my stay. The bathroom felt cramped, the bed was uncomfortable because of the divider, and the soap dispensers in the bathroom didn’t work properly and were hard to pump. The staff ranged from very kind to rude. Check‑in and check‑out were smooth. My friend and I bought wine cards, but when we tried to use them, staff questioned us excessively about where we had bought the wine from the hotel. They then turned off the hotel music where we were and made us feel unwelcome.

The accommodation is in a quiet part of town, easily reachable by metro and bus. In the evening it was peaceful and the sleep was good. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of cheeses, fresh orange juice, and all the pastries were superb. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place.

“Fine but don’t choose because of ‘spa’ or ‘wine-tasting’”

The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable. Marketing makes it seem far more upscale than it actually is. The pool and spa require payment and pre‑booking (35 euros for 45 minutes) and are too intimate if you book a slot and are there with a partner. The marketing over‑emphasises the pool. Likewise, there’s a lot of hype about this being a wine hotel, but when we tried to experience it, the desk staff claimed to know nothing about it. In reality, the basement breakfast room—where room service actively discourages use—has a few bottles of wine, but it’s useless if staff aren’t aware. The head of room service was extremely rude: when I was waiting for my husband to check out, she took away the water bottle and glass I was holding, acting unfriendly. She apologized after I reported it to the manager, but the incident left me upset and embarrassed. Definitely not what you’d expect from a good hotel.

Very clean and modern. Pool and sauna comes at an extra charge

“Value for money”

The rooms were nice and clean. The bar was poorly stocked (only wine). In‑room refreshments were limited to water from the ground floor (we were on the 6th), and the coffee machine only served espresso.
