A stunning cottage, both inside and out, with a perfectly equipped room, a small library full of carefully selected books, a cozy bed, wooden shutters—truly a sanctuary. The host goes above and beyond, attending to every detail with professionalism: a hot boiled egg, a vase of wheat for a seasonal touch. I felt so welcomed by a kind, knowledgeable lady who loves her job. The cottage of the year, no doubt.

The welcome was very friendly, but the place is too far from Vézelay. Comfort is basic, a shower would be a nice addition. And, seriously, get rid of that bell that ruins a good night.

Everything was great: a wonderful host, excellent breakfast with local products, a large, comfy room, thoughtful bathroom touches, and spotless cleanliness. The only downside was the Wi‑Fi being a bit weak.

The reception was excellent, and the breakfast was generous with fresh, high‑quality items.
