The beds were comfy and the blankets were warm. The place was small but cozy. Food kept disappearing from the fridge, and the upstairs bathroom had no hot water.

The location was fine. When we arrived, we were hit with an extra “commission” that was 18 % higher than the listed price, and the owner only said it was a “booking commission” that everyone pays. The kitchen access was also an extra charge, supposedly for gas. The private room faced a very noisy street, but earplugs helped.

The owner was extremely unpleasant and controlling. Cameras watched guests, and when I used the stove, volunteers would abruptly turn off the gas, claiming a fire hazard—really just to stop me using the kitchen. When I returned, the owner charged me more than the online rate: my reservation was USD 3.83, but at about 9 p.m. he billed USD 5. Hot water was unreliable, so I avoided showers for fear of getting sick. Nights were cold and the owner wouldn’t give an extra blanket. He would also burst into the room while cleaning in the morning, blasting loud music from a speaker he liked, ignoring whether guests were sleeping. This was disrespectful and rude. If you have other options and enough budget, stay elsewhere. This place made my stay extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant.

The place was close to the center and cheap. The owner demanded 30 % more than the price listed on Booking, arguing with him was pointless. You should stick to the Booking price and ignore his fees; he has no right to add them.

The location was in a ramen bar, and the shower water was warm. Communication with the host was poor.
