The starry were amazing, and Mary gave us a warm welcome and handled everything we needed. The Bank House is an old building, so it wasn't what we liked; the bathroom was a bit dated but did its job.

The lady at reception was very pleasant and helpful. The bedroom and ensuite were clean, and the beer garden was a nice spot to sit out with the dogs. The whole place looked tired and a bit shabby, needing serious TLC. The small double room was really a single with a 3/4 bed in it. The bathroom was nearly as big as the bedroom, and no, I’m not joking! It was very cramped, but okay for one night. The charge per dog was £15, which I thought was a rip off considering the tiny, tired room and the fact that they were no bother.

The area was lovely, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were kind, friendly, and very nice. I loved the room I stayed in and the bed was exceptionally comfy. I’ll definitely be back in October and would love to have the same room again for 3 nights.
