Hotel Restaurant Tomahawk

The staff were lovely and the restaurant food was superb, the place itself was good but be warned there’s a hill to walk up when you get off the train; the village is lovely and the hiking options are fantastic, but I hate to say this, if you have a bad back like I do, the beds are way too soft.

The place was calm and the hosts were kind, but the toilet holder was wobbly and there was a lack of storage in the bathroom.

The staff were friendly, but everything was very cheap and dirty, cleaning would help a lot; a family sits and drinks coffee.

“Rundum zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt”

We really liked the extremely friendly staff, which is worth mentioning especially; the restaurant food, the great breakfast and the value for money were also appreciated; all rooms were clean, the stay was very nice, we felt comfortable, the shortcomings of the rooms were more than compensated by the very nice and friendly staff; you must note that it is an old building, so you accept the corresponding limitations, e.g. the very narrow bathrooms and showers, some things would also need repair.

We were completely satisfied and felt very comfortable from the start; arriving early let us check in early without trouble, the staff were consistently very friendly and warm, we received a very nice room with a wonderful view, the rooms are a bit small but perfectly adequate and very comfortable, everything was clean and well kept, and the beds were very comfortable; we were especially impressed by the breakfast: very tasty, plentiful and at a really fair price; the restaurant is well attended in the evenings, which we can understand, the food was very tasty and of high quality, there’s also a good selection of tasty vegetarian dishes, we felt very comfortable here and would gladly return – a clear recommendation!
