New Minor Hotel

The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and the location in the city was good. Breakfast was okay. After the first night there was no housekeeping. There was no refrigerator in the room. Breakfast was served in the neighboring hotel’s cellar. The terrace was closed; you could only use the neighbor’s house.

Convenient location, tasty breakfast, though it was in the nearby Minor guesthouse, but everything was delicious. They also helped with transfer to Urgench. No complaints.

Overall, staying at New Minor left a pleasant impression; everything was at the expected good level. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the setting matched the photos perfectly. Service was impressive: without unnecessary reminders, the transfer from Urgench to Khiva was organized clearly. Breakfast was good and varied enough. The hotel’s layout is smart, with verandas offering a beautiful view of the Old Town, and a rooftop restaurant where you can dine pleasantly with a view of the evening lighting. The main plus of the hotel is reliability. Unfortunately, during my trip across Uzbekistan I twice encountered other places where the booked room turned out to be suddenly occupied upon arrival. It’s reassuring that at New Minor such problems don’t occur and everything is guaranteed. A good choice for a predictable and calm stay.

The hotel is located inside the old city, very convenient for visiting everything. Everything was fine.

“Good stay in the centre of khiva”

The place was spotless, but the pool was nowhere to be found and breakfast wrapped up at 9 am, which felt a bit rushed if you’re hoping to linger.
