The Japanese architecture is really beautiful, and you can soak in the hot springs anytime; the massage chair is super comfortable and the cute owner, Assi, is lovely. The building is older, so it feels a bit damp inside, which is somewhat uncomfortable.

There’s a very friendly cat that’s adorable, the space is quite large and comfortable, and kids are happy. The drawback is that the road to drive in is really narrow, making reversing difficult, and the room door is low—people taller than 170 cm will keep bumping their heads.

The room was spotlessly clean, but one of the four‑person tatami rooms only had two mattresses, which was a bit disappointing.

Experiencing a tatami room was great, especially with the super clingy cat inside; even though it’s a homestay, a staff member greeted us and explained everything clearly. Just a heads‑up: if you’re driving a 7‑seat vehicle, the intersection is a bit tight.

I loved the overall setting and the abundance of rooms, plus the company of the Assi cat roommate; I’ll definitely return. Driving there, however, was a bit tricky.
