Carmen, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and everything was in perfect order—beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean and tidy.

Parking was impossible to find near the accommodation; I managed to spot a tiny temporary spot and had to leave my wife inside to walk around for a bit. The owner gave me no parking info before I left Belgium. I could see the house façade—a very small house with tiny windows, nothing impressive. It’s a shame booking didn’t provide more details on their site. I lost the reservation amount but chose to keep going, drive an extra 350 km, and arrive home instead of staying in such a place and risking problems with my car in narrow streets. From now on I won’t trust booking’s choices as much. A decent hotel is welcome.

The room and bathroom were very spacious, and the ceiling fan was more than enough for the heat. Using the shared kitchen was really difficult because three people live there and the fridge is full. You can heat food in the microwave on the same floor and there’s a capsule coffee machine.
