The Arenal Volcano lies 5 km away, while the La Fortuna Waterfall is a 5‑minute drive. Local shops are a 2‑minute walk, and free parking is available.

The location is perfect if you want to visit the volcano and the hot springs at another hotel in the same chain. Plus, the room had a little terrace overlooking the pool and the volcano. The only downside was that there was no fridge in the room.

The location is excellent, the breakfast is very Tico and good. The partnership with the sister hotel makes it easy to enjoy the hot springs. In the room we were given, the mattresses were worn out.

The option to visit the natural thermal pools at another hotel in the same chain is a luxury, letting you bathe in that natural setting and relax. You’re staying in the city center, just 2 minutes from the main square, but you can reach the natural pools by car in 10 minutes. The breakfast is great, but it could be a bit more varied. After spending more than a week in Costa Rica, the rice and beans at breakfast become tiring. They could offer more variety, but the breakfast is still fantastic.

The location is very central, which makes it easy to move around whether you’re walking or driving. The facilities are very comfortable, pleasant, very clean, and quiet.
