Reception staff were friendly and even upgraded us to a sea‑view room when we asked, but the toilets were awful—tiny, with shower water splashing everywhere and slow drainage. Breakfast options were limited and the same menu was served each day.

The large pool was beautiful, clean water with no chlorine smell, and the reception staff were friendly and enthusiastic; on the downside, the infrastructure is worn and old, there’s no fan, and booking a room for 1,300 k near the trip felt overly expensive.

It was only a few minutes' walk down the main street, the hotel was quiet, in a tranquil location, and everything was fine.

This boutique hotel is exceptional, offering a stunning sunset view of the water from the hilltop, and you can walk down to the beach in 20 minutes. Restaurants lie on the main strip, convenience stores are nearby, and the main bus to the airport runs along the main street. Daily maid service is provided, beds are comfortable, showers are available but no tub, and only a kettle is supplied; a safe was not visible. The pool is huge, clean, and spectacular, with a sundeck and a bar close by. Breakfast is great and comes with a view. The place is a destination in itself, and I definitely want to return—especially for the sunset balcony, the pool, and the food. The downside is that you have to hike up the hill to reach the hotel; a Grab or car hire would make it easier.
