“Nappino's Experience”

Visiting this hotel is like taking home a “nappino's experience.” You have to look with the heart, not with dry eyes; my stay was partly mind‑blowing and I’d dare call it incredible, because if I tried to recount what happened in two days, no one would believe me. Still, I’d return a hundred times more because every “character” I met showed a good, pure, bright heart—exactly like the place itself, substance over appearance.

The chance to dine at the restaurant is a plus, but the parking is a bit left in ruins.

The location is great for the Musart Festival, but everything else is a rundown structure that needs a deep restoration: bad wiring, peeling furniture, scattered dirt, a noisy, inefficient air‑conditioner, a shower without a basin in the bathroom—an absolute disaster. Breakfast, supposedly included and paid for, was nonexistent; the staff gave a vague excuse, and the meager yogurt had been taken from a fridge that had been left outside amid the previous night’s mess. It could be justified at 40 % lower price, but for € 96 you normally expect a lot better.

The building has no pretensions but is fine for one or two nights if you want to visit Florence without spending much. The bus right next to the hotel makes it easy to get to Florence. The price included breakfast, from 7 – 10, but before 8 there was nothing to eat. Breakfast is served in the bar on the ground floor. On Saturday there were only 3 brioche; on Sunday at 8 there was nothing.

Nothing. The building is dilapidated. The staff is unqualified and the owners are justifiably absent. Everything is bad.
