At breakfast the cake mentioned on the website was missing, but booking the free one‑hour sauna was great and the staff were very nice; however, there is no toilet near the sauna and curtains in the room at head height would be nice.

The kitchen was very well equipped. The apartment is very bright, and the balcony faces the sunny side.

The beach is right outside the door, so you can start walking or cycling straight to the sea. The room had a sea view, which was top. The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared, a bit of everything.

The direct view over the dike to the sea was great. The binoculars left on the room were useful! The apartment was large enough for two people. We found the beds comfortable. Since we were self‑catering, we were pleased with the proximity to the beach bakery, fish stand, etc. Being right on the promenade during our travel time didn’t cause any noise. The hotel’s parking spaces behind the building were ample. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was no covered spot for the bikes we brought. We had to park them by walking through the hotel and breakfast area. If that exit was closed later in the evening, we had to walk around the whole block to the main entrance, which also applied to longer car trips.
