“Good location but do not stay in the hostel here.”

The spot is good for the Saturday walking street, but most reviews here seem to be for the private rooms upstairs. I stayed in the 4‑bed dorm in the hostel and I wouldn’t recommend it. It was really dirty and shabby, with a pile of overflowing rubbish by the shoe rack. The bathrooms were also dirty, full of mosquitoes, and there was no hand soap. The self‑service coffee and water station was filthy. The bed itself was hard, though not the worst. The staff seemed friendly, but I was just relieved to be staying there for one night before the airport. It’s a cheap hostel, but I still expect basic hygiene.

“Ripped…”

The bed and bathroom were comfy, and the balcony was nice, though the street noise was substantial. I stayed in a deluxe room on the 4th floor (no elevator, which wasn’t an issue for me). The interior was dusty with cobwebs in some corners, the small windows were never cleaned, and the curtains at the balcony door were badly ripped, as was the shower curtain. The breakfast was a pathetic excuse.

The hostel behind the hotel feels like a hidden corner; the rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are filthy, almost as if a construction site had been hastily built. Plants even grow from the roof. The public water dispenser is stained with coffee spots and grime, making it seem dirtier than tap water. The shared toilet is smelly, and I never dared sit on the seat, holding my breath each time. The photos on the booking site look great, but the reality was a complete deception.

The place was very dirty, blankets had a musty odor, roaches were present, and trash was left in the showers. Some showers didn’t have working water, and there was no hand soap in the washroom. The all‑female room had a rag used as a curtain over the window, only half covering it, so you could still see inside. I had to check out early.
