This cozy B and B feels like home, though it doesn't offer many amenities and is hard to locate without a sign outside. A sign would help guests know they're at the right place.
The place is close to Kew Garden, but it was unbearably hot on the second floor under the roof, and the steep stairs were a challenge.
Chris was very attentive and eager to meet our needs. The B&B’s location is perfect for visiting Kew Gardens and the National Archives. However, when the night temperature rises, the top floor gets very hot even with the fan. With the windows open, you hear the train or metro nearby and the traffic of Heathrow planes, which stops at night.
“Thank you for your kindness. A most welcoming host and a lovely location.”
I appreciated the spot and the host’s kindness, who made sure I had everything I needed for breakfast.
“Pleasant comfortable two nights in a comfotable B & B in calm and clean village”
A solid pick for a non‑cooked breakfast: the fresh summer‑fruit medley starter was excellent, the welcome was friendly, and it’s convenient for a Kew Gardens visit. It’s near the Tube and surrounded by good pubs and restaurants.
