The staff were incredibly kind and gave us very useful advice for our Kyoto stay. The room was small but functional and very distinctive. We’ll definitely come back because Kyoto has so many beautiful spots we’d love to revisit.

The design is lovingly crafted (bathroom, tatami area), with plenty of space. It’s well air‑conditioned and the staff are very friendly. They can even transport your luggage to the next hotel right on site. The only downside is that only one side of the room gets a little daylight.

The room is great size for a family of four, and the location is brilliant. We were in Kyoto during the summer festival, and the central spot was very convenient.
