“Cool Spot, Paper Shortage”
The spot was great—central and really cool. But it was a bit of a let‑down when the toilet paper ran out and there was no backup. Breakfast had to be taken off‑site and there was no one on the premises to help. It’s not your typical B&B vibe.
“Spacious, Historic Stay with a Small Hiccup”
This old house turned BnB is gorgeous, and our room was huge with top‑quality bed, linens, and towels. It’s a short walk to the main street where we found great food, like the Gambier Hotel. The only hiccup was having to coordinate key pickup with the host—my phone was lost, so I missed her call, but she came over in minutes once I called.
“Grand Vibes, Grimy Touches”
Loved the grandeur and historic feel of the place, and the room was plenty spacious. The downside? The carpet was old and dirty, and the shower curtain looked worn out.
“Big Bath, Cozy Fireplace”
The room was a total upgrade—beautifully renovated with the biggest bathroom I’ve ever seen. The bed was super comfy, and the gas fireplace right next to it added a cozy touch. Plus, it’s practically a stone’s throw from the town centre.
“Good Stay, Entrance Confusion”
Had a solid stay, but finding the entrance was a bit confusing. I couldn’t shut the doors quietly when I left early, which probably annoyed other guests. A map or layout would have helped.
