I stayed at DOMA Polanco after seeing the strong reviews and unfortunately had a very different experience. I reported what appeared to be a gas leak in my room. Without initially checking the room, staff told me the issue had already been taken care of. The problem persisted and became a health concern. Everyone in my traveling party experienced headaches, and we were eventually moved to another room. Unfortunately, the replacement room had its own issues. The shower/bathtub would not drain and remained that way for more than 16 hours. I raised these concerns with the staff, and the hotel ultimately provided me with a written letter acknowledging the issues during my stay. After returning from my travels, I followed up with their team by email regarding my experience and received no response. I visit Polanco several times a year and am familiar with many of the hotels in the area. I decided to try DOMA because of its positive reviews, but based on my experience, I will not be returning. The location is good, but unfortunately the experience was not worth the time or the money

Een heerlijk hotel op een goede locatie in Polanco, een mooie en veilige, maar ook vrij rustige wijk. Het appartement was ontzettend ruim, schoon en comfortabel, met een heerlijk en enorm breed bed. Ook het zwembad en de rustige binnentuin zijn erg fijn. In Polanco vind je genoeg goede restaurants, winkels en cafés, maar voor wat meer levendigheid namen wij een taxi naar Roma Norte. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt vonden wij wat eenvoudig in verhouding tot de rest van het hotel. Ook mist er een gezellige bar of plek waar je aan het einde van de dag nog iets kunt drinken

Despite being right in the middle of Mexico City, the place was surprisingly quiet and we slept wonderfully. The apartment was packed with great equipment, the staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The pool had a small warm section, but most of it was cold, which was fine when it was 30 °C outside, but during our visit the maximum temperature was only 25 °C, so swimming wasn’t very pleasant.
