Tony, one of the owners, welcomed us wonderfully and told us about the country house’s history and the restoration work. He was a fantastic host and handled every request with ease. We enjoyed a traditional breakfast in the Orangery, waved goodbye to the black swans and white peacocks, and headed home. We hope to return if we’re in the area again.

The location and the property’s history were great, and the parking was secluded, which worked well because we were on a motorbike. The food was really good with big portions, and the staff were very friendly.

I stayed in the Main House, which was fabulous. The owner did everything he could to help us. The onsite restaurant “Nosh” offered a great selection of dishes that were well cooked and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re ever in the area.

What a beautiful place. Perfect location for our overnight stop. Breakfast is incredible. Staff very helpful and attentive. Great stay!
