I liked what was available, but not the presentation; the staff were excellent given the constraints they had to work with under new ownership. The place needs considerable updating: it’s clean, but the doors would stick or not even lock, and the staff seemed to be trying but didn’t have the tools to succeed, making the best of their predicament.

I liked the made‑to‑order breakfast and the location, but there were no options for a lower‑floor room when we had a dog, and the room wasn’t very clean.

I didn’t end up staying here. The manager at the desk wouldn’t let me stay because the numbers on his screen didn’t match the digits on the card I used to pay for the room. I even showed him my receipt with the card ID used to pay. I ended up on the phone with the manager on speaker; he finally agreed to let me stay, but the room I’d booked wasn’t available, so I left and rebooked elsewhere.

Breakfast was great, with made‑to‑order omelets, French toast, pancakes, and eggs, and the other food selections were also excellent. There weren’t enough clothes hangers.

The parking was very spacious and the facilities were clean. The staff’s attitude was disappointing because they didn’t respect my reservation and I had to wait more than half an hour.
