The stay was very comfortable in a quiet area where you can easily go out for a drink. The staff were super friendly, the breakfast was delicious and homemade, and the lady who was there was gorgeous and gave us a lot of advice. Everything was fine!

We arrived at the airport in the evening and took the public bus to Alajuela; after about 10 minutes we reached the bus terminal, and from there it was a 5–10 minute walk to the hotel. A bank, a supermarket, and the church square conveniently lie along the route. The hotel is small and lovingly run, easy to spot. The locals are warm and very helpful. In the mornings we had our first Gallo Pinto here, and even after a few days in Costa Rica it still felt like the best. 😊 For a first night after arrival it was absolutely perfect, especially if you plan to catch another bus the next morning. It left us with a genuinely pleasant first impression of Costa Rica. 🇨🇷

The staff were very attentive and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with generous portions; the location in central Alajuela is ideal. However, the facilities feel outdated and lack proper maintenance.

The hotel is close to the airport and downtown shops. Cleanliness needs improvement—there were many hairs in the room I was assigned, and the power outlet near the bed was completely broken.
