The value for money is excellent and the hotel is very close to Rua das Pedras and nearby restaurants. However, more assistance should be available for moving luggage up to the higher‑floor apartments; my wife and I, both over 60, had to carry our bags ourselves, and there was no staff assigned to help at check‑in.

The location is great, but it is not suitable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues in any way. The reception staff, especially Luisin—who is very friendly and cheerful—along with Mateo and Marcela, were attentive. Still, there seems to be a lack of elevators or something similar.

I don't understand why I was charged if I never actually stayed. I have no idea who made the reservation; I received a billing notice 12 days later for a supposed stay, sent messages, tried calling, and got nothing.

The place had a nice aesthetic, a good view, and a decent pool, and the breakfast was fine. However, the access to the pousada was problematic; there are too many steps to reach the rooms, so it would help to assign older guests to the lower floors.
