The location was great, but the hotel was in the middle of remodeling. I didn’t get a room on the first night, and my friend needed a handicap‑accessible ground‑floor room; instead we were put on the second floor, far apart from each other. Her room had dirty underwear hanging on the shower curtain rod behind the curtain.

The hotel was convenient to the places we liked to hang out, but the room’s air conditioning didn’t work, the bed cover had rips, the bathroom door wouldn’t lock (it looked like it had been broken into before), the manager moved us to another room but the bathroom door still wouldn’t lock, the bed cover still had rips, the curtains were stained, there was no hot water (no notice either), we were locked out of the room daily and had to have the office reset our key, and old furniture was left outside. Overall it just wasn’t a good place to stay; I know they’re working to improve, but this isn’t our first time staying here, so it will be our last.

We’ve stayed here several times before, and the recent updates are impressive. Everything in our room was brand new and looked great. The management was very friendly and handled any issue we had quickly. We’ll definitely return. The pillows were a bit flat and the new mattresses were too soft for me, but everyone’s sleep preferences differ, so it was acceptable.

“Good for the price, will be much better once renovations are done.”

The spot is cheap and close to everything, but it’s still under renovation. We stayed twice—once heading to Florida and again on the return trip. The first night was fine, with a brand‑new room that no one had used before, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The second night was rough: we checked in around 1 am because of traffic, landed on the back side of the building, and felt uneasy. People were loitering outside the rooms, watching us unload, and our room lacked a top lock, so I stayed awake all night knowing odd strangers were just hanging outside, watching us enter. I have a small son, so I didn’t sleep at all. The place will look great once it’s finished, but right now there’s garbage everywhere outside. The beds were comfortable and new, but both rooms had cigarette‑burn holes in the sheets and top blanket. There’s a lot of potential, but they really need rules about people hanging out outside like that. Some of those loiterers weren’t even staying there.
