We love the peace and tranquility at Reflections, and the views from our accommodation are spectacular. We’ve stayed many times and never had a complaint. Uhmmmmm, nothing.

“Fantastic views and comfortable farm stay for the entire family”

The location is great, surrounded by mountains and offering beautiful views. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and catered to our needs with many extras you don’t normally get from a farm stay—rowing boats, a boma, a jungle gym, and other fun additions made it a relaxing family stay. It’s dog‑friendly with plenty of walking opportunities. The only downside was that it was a bit too close to the main road, so traffic could still be heard when it was busy, and in our unit some of the stove plates weren’t working.

“Appreciated the views, but did not like the inside of the house.”

The lawn area was beautiful and safe, and the remote access gate worked well; the host let us check in late. We enjoyed the lake and mountain view, and the house was spacious with a full kitchen, a lounge fireplace, and air conditioning only in the lounge. The interior, however, was poorly maintained: kitchen clothes were greasy and unclean, the furniture was old, the wooden floor showed wear, some windows didn’t close properly, and the bedrooms had no air conditioning—just wall heaters that couldn’t keep the rooms warm.

“Tranquil place just outside Tulbagh in a breathtaking setting, can highly recommend!”

The place was comfy, rustic, and had every amenity we could wish for. Kirsty and Tim were outstanding hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
