The view was nice, and breakfast was decent, though it was a bit cold. But the first thing you notice is the wasps—everywhere. The hotel didn't even expect us, even though the booking said we were good to go, and the road was a mess because of road works. It was a mixed bag.
The hotel truly lives up to its name, perched with a panoramic lake view that we enjoyed both morning and evening. The owners and staff were incredibly kind, looking after our feverish son and serving a breakfast that featured the best omelette I’ve had in Albania. The restaurant dishes are tasty and good value, though rooms directly above the restaurant can get noisy at night and share a bathroom, which might be a surprise. Overall a lovely stay despite the occasional noise.

The large room is huge and the place is luxurious; the chef is excellent and the restaurant fills up all evening, but the shower is dirty and smells bad, which is a real let‑down, and the owner watches everything from his balcony, making me feel watched by both him and the staff.
The spot is absolutely beautiful and the restaurant’s menu is fantastic, but the bathroom is shared and you can hear the kitchen noise right next to the rooms. If you don’t mind a little hustle, it’s still a decent place to stay.
