The room was tidy, the bed comfortable, and the A/C was cold. However, the staff weren’t on site, so I had to wait for them to arrive to check in even after I’d let them know my arrival time. Also, the room lacked basic soap and shampoo, which most hotels provide, especially for the price I paid.

The owner was very friendly and we chatted for a while; she runs a simple business by herself and can get you capot pepper at a good price in the market. The facilities are very basic, the building’s entrance door is always open, and reception is empty because the owner works at multiple places. The room is very simple with a very thin mattress; it’s fine for one night because it offers the essentials—a clean bed and shower.

I really enjoyed the hospitality and kindness of the owner, who also runs a restaurant just a few streets away where you can eat really good dishes for a low price! The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. You can freely enter and leave the property at any hour, day or night. I’m very satisfied with my stay and will remember it fondly. The place is very central, conveniently right next to the transport company we used. The owner welcomed us warmly and was flexible, for example when we requested a late checkout. Great value for money. For the price we had everything we needed, including a water dispenser for free refills.

The location is very good in the city centre. The room was clean, the shower and facilities were excellent. We had a water fountain for drinking and a coffee station, which was a nice bonus. Moni the owner was kind and responsive to every issue, especially for renting scooters and laundry service. She also owns a smash burger restaurant and a Khmer cuisine restaurant at the same spot (7 min walk) and offers guests a 10 % discount, so I’d definitely recommend staying here when in Kampot.
