“Great Location and Value, but Mixed Experience with Facilities and Service”
The place gave great bang for the buck, especially with its spot right next to the station that made subway hops a breeze and put historic spots within easy reach; even the auto‑rickshaw drivers knew exactly where to find it. I later discovered a liquor store nearby, grabbed a few beers and some McDonald’s food, and ended up enjoying them on the rooftop—absolutely fantastic. On the downside, the budget vibe showed through: the faucet wouldn’t shut off completely and leaked, there were no hangers or any way to hang clothes, and the chair was so dirty I hesitated to sit. The staff offered little personal help or accommodation; when I had to cancel a pre‑booked auto‑rickshaw a day early, I texted and called the driver’s Indian number with no reply, then asked the front desk to cancel for me. They agreed but did nothing; the next morning the driver showed up and waited in front of the lobby for two hours, while the front desk never informed him of the cancellation, creating a very awkward situation.
