“のんびりできる良い宿でした”

The hotel is about 5〜10分 on foot from Kintetsu Nara Station and JR Nara Station, so the location is great. Since only one party stayed, I could relax. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed drip coffee with the lovely tea cups provided. Having a washing machine and dryer was a real help. Breakfast offered several hot sandwiches and homemade granola to choose from, both of which were tasty. The room is on the 2階 while the toilet is on the 1階, so it was a bit inconvenient to go to the bathroom. However, the toilet and bath were well‑kept and clean.

Morning coffee filled the air with a wonderful aroma that tasted delicious, and the room’s vibe was also very pleasant. The building’s old‑house feel kept the temperature on the lower side, but the kerosene stove made it very warm; it would have been nice if there were a way to add humidity.

“可以感受奈良的人情味與美好的氛圍”

The owner‑couple run a fantastic café, they’re friendly, the coffee is excellent, and they can speak English and helped us out. The lodging sits on the second floor above the café, the location is great, walking to the shopping street takes only 5‑10 minutes, to the attractions 20‑30 minutes, and there’s no noisy crowd so we could enjoy the peaceful Nara‑like atmosphere. Everything was fine; the only improvement would be a bathroom on the 2F.

“素敵な空間”

The single‑group‑per‑day policy gave a special feel, the rooms were calm and stylish with no unnecessary items. At check‑in, the staff explained the facility usage clearly, and the pre‑arrival communication was responsive, providing parking, nearby eateries, and tourist spots, which was very helpful. They also kindly addressed the possibility of cancellation due to the typhoon, so we felt secure. The food and coffee were tasty, and the staff’s friendly check‑ins made for a pleasant morning. With many foreign guests, the staff’s fluent English and communication skills were impressive. The café was open to everyone, and the staff’s character left a great impression. The only downside: when I tried to fill the bath, the hot water wouldn’t rise, so the water stayed lukewarm and I could only shower.
