The spot is close to everything—restaurants, beaches, and the front desk staff are friendly. But for nearly $800 a night, the property was a huge letdown: the rooms were old and out of date, and the cleanliness was unacceptable. We even found dirty diapers left by previous guests, proving the space hadn’t been properly cleaned before we checked in.

We always head to the nearby food and stores, but the parking on arrival is a nightmare: $45 valet, only one handicap spot at the front, and another self‑parking garage at the back operated by a third party with hourly or flat rates, meaning you have to walk a few blocks or navigate around buildings with luggage. In one suite we bought, the two rooms were split into three, more like two with a full kitchen; one room was cramped like a closet, making it hard to move around the bed, and the fire stone in the hallway was a hazard. My wife, who uses a cane, found it difficult even for a normal person. The closet was wall‑to‑wall. In the second suite, the bathroom door handle was broken, locking us inside. The king bed was flat like a pancake with holes on both sides, making it impossible to sleep without pain.

The location is great, right next to shops and restaurants, and the pool is nice. The rooms are large; we stayed in a family suite that was very roomy. It was a bit old‑school, and the rooms might need updating, but that’s just the vibe of the area.
