The staff are very friendly. Three different employees, all caring and attentive, ask how we are each morning when we come down. If you need anything, they say you can write via WP. They are very helpful. We didn’t dislike any aspect.

“A true hidden gem — stay here, not in the center of the tourist area!”

Truly an oasis in a city that is beautiful yet exhausting, both physically (hot and uphill) and mentally (so many tourists). We loved retreating to Neira after a hot, tiring day in Sidi Bou Said. We debated staying here, outside the typical tourist zone, versus a hotel right in the middle of the tourist area, and we’re so glad we chose Neira. It was a real respite—TV, AC, nice shower, clean and quiet—and it was also closer to better, more affordable food (Malibu—our favorite; we even made a special trip back there after leaving Sidi). The neighborhoods in Sidi outside the typical tourist zone are charming and worth strolling, more enjoyable than the usual “must‑see” spots. Our host was attentive and kind—she called taxis for us and gave us recommendations. An absolute gem in this must‑see city. When we first arrived, the instructions on how to enter the property weren’t clear and we couldn’t figure out how to get into the front entrance, but our taxi driver kindly called the hotel and we sorted it out.

The calm, comfort, and minimalist décor focus on relaxation and rest. The staff are adorable and very available. At the hotel level there’s nothing to complain about, but the city of Tunis is quite disappointing—dirty with litter scattered by cats everywhere, dangerous taxi driving! Regarding the restaurant Le Jasmin just next door, they are not at all friendly and do not accept credit cards, which is a real issue.

Finding the place was not EASY😉 but once I arrived, everything was perfect! The location is quiet yet very close to Sidi Bou Side.
