“Only guests in the hostel”
We were the only guests at the hostel, and the owner spoke English and was ready to help via WhatsApp. The place has an elevator. Since we only stayed one night, there’s nothing else to complain about.

The original room was terrible: the bathroom was filthy, every bed in the dorm had rodent droppings and urine, and the door wouldn’t even close, leaving us exposed to the outside. We left our stuff and came back after dinner to find the room swarming with hornets/wasps everywhere. Thanks to the owner, we were moved to a private room after we showed him videos of the hornets, but that room had ants everywhere, more rodent droppings, and the shower head was completely broken off the wall, so we had to shower by holding a hose. The bed was rock solid, and even the complimentary toiletries had been gnawed open by rodents. It was 8 pm, we had nowhere else to sleep, and the owner asked us to pay upfront after showing us the room; we agreed because we had cash, but then he demanded a bank transfer and said he wouldn’t take cash, promising to sort it out later. He tried to overcharge us the original nightly rate, but eventually accepted the cash. There was only one other guest in the hotel, and it was empty and horrible. The reviews looked good, but it seems the ownership has changed. I would avoid this accommodation at all costs. Do not stay here.

There was no breakfast, but the location is central. The reception staff were not friendly, very cold, and seemed to think we were a nuisance. The owner was very nice and helpful, but he was rarely at the hotel.

The location is perfect, with easy access to field walks and dining options nearby, and the annual market is just across the street. The owner is very helpful. The mattress was very hard for me, though some might see that as a benefit.

The young man at reception was helpful. The housekeeping had not cleaned the room; the trash bin was full and there were hair and black residue (like mouse droppings) in the bathroom. The young man offered us the next room, which had the same black residue along the window and on the floor. The bedding was completely ruined (the metal springs were unbearable, causing back pain). There was no hot water despite the location. The sheets were worn (holes, and they no longer hold in the corners). The toilet paper roll had absorbed water and was dusty. There was significant street noise. Breakfast was made on the spot (they fetch a loaf from the baker and eggs from the shop when you sit down).
