Watch out for the cleanliness issue; at no point are you told to leave X items collected, and now they complain that they will keep my €70 deposit when I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CHARGED ANOTHER €70 within the price of the accommodation reservation. All this because I left the beds made and the dishes clean drying next to the sink. Now they are not responding to my messages and I doubt I will ever get my money back.

The kids were able to roam freely and enjoy plenty of play options, which made the 14‑day trip feel worthwhile. We appreciated the lively atmosphere created by all the activities, and the shared moments left a strong impression. Overall, the experience was valuable and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the downside, the roads could use a facelift in terms of condition and design, and a more developed dog park would be desirable.

We liked the spacious, modern, and clean accommodation, and everything we needed was provided—sponges, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, even the sheets smelled great. Arriving was easy thanks to the clear instructions we received 29 minutes before reaching Bobbjaaland, and the site is close to the Turnhout city center with many shops. The wooded campsite is nice for walks or bike rides, and there are plenty of games for kids. The value for money is good, so we recommend it. The only drawback was the noisy neighbors who ignored the “no noise after 23:00” rule.

The location near Turnhout is perfect, set in a beautiful forested area and ideal as a base for cycling. The staff are friendly, and you can order fresh sandwiches in the morning that are really tasty straight from the baker. The cabin facilities were fine, and the beds were genuinely comfortable. However, the campsite’s amenities are very limited. It felt deserted even in peak season, with only a swimming pond and a few play areas for young children. There was no animation on Sundays, and although there’s a beautiful fish pond, you can’t rent fishing rods or anything, which is a missed opportunity. The campsite was newly acquired, so improvements might come in the next seasons. We were with two families, and despite plenty of space, we weren’t next to each other; both of us had empty cabins next to us, which I didn’t understand.
