“Tutto perfetto”
Rosanna’s cottage is an ideal accommodation for many reasons. It’s easily reachable by car and there are plenty of free parking spots around the building (we always parked on the street next to the bakery above the house). The house is spotless, well furnished, and set in the calm green of the Valley of the Temples. Every morning we had breakfast with a spectacular view, and every evening we dined while watching the illuminated temples. The house provided everything needed for a long stay (we were there for 8 days): coffee, biscuits, bottled water, shampoo, body wash… In short, Rosanna is a very attentive host who never left us wanting anything. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing us to cook meals instead of always eating out. The apartment has two double rooms with a private bathroom, but the kitchen is shared with other guests, which might be a drawback for introverted people seeking total privacy. For us, it was a plus because it let us make friends with the lovely couple who shared the apartment that time. From the apartment, the centre is easily reachable on foot, no need to drive; the rooms are quiet and air‑conditioned (as is the kitchen). In short, if you’re heading to Agrigento, Rosanna’s house is perfect for short or long stays. The only downside is that Agrigento sits on a hill, so the roads are often steep, uphill or downhill; parking might not be on the same level, but we managed and everyone can too!
