I didn’t stay even 24 hours. I didn’t like that the bathroom was outside, there was no air‑conditioning, only a ceiling fan that blew the hot air from inside the room; every time I went to the bathroom I had to lock the room and take the key, so I was glad I didn’t stay the night—just imagine having to get up to use an outside bathroom.

The room at Casa Frankie had an overwhelming urine smell, likely from the mattress. I told the manager and tried to handle it calmly, but he ignored the issue and was even rude. The cleaning was subpar and the service unacceptable.

The inn’s house is a beautiful colonial mansion with an amazing façade; I’d say the location is the highlight, as two art institutes and several attractions are on the same street and walkable. The service was terrible, the person who attended us was extremely rude and, in my view, shouldn’t work in customer service; another downside was the room’s cleanliness, it was so dirty that we questioned whether the bedding had been washed.
