The room, or rather the suite, was huge and the garden was gorgeous, but the villa’s façade needs a makeover, and the pool could use a refresh. Breakfast was a hassle: no service at the restaurant, bar, or garden; it was left in the room the night before and kept in the fridge, with no fresh pastries or coffee—just a Nespresso machine in the room.
