Tuckaway Shores Resort

“Loved it and will go back again one day.”

It sat right on the beach and was a quick stroll to the surf. The setting was peaceful with an old‑Florida motel vibe. The bed and living area were very comfortable. I did notice a faint smell of marijuana smoke a few times while on the ocean patio.

“We loved our stay at Tuckaway Shores, it is a hidden gem!”

From the friendly, efficient check‑in to the stunning view, we loved everything about Tuckaway Shores. The pool, easy beach access, and patio view were highlights. The kitchenette was handy and met our needs; the shower was great and the bed was cozy. We met many regulars, all very friendly, and learned about sea turtles. Plenty of good restaurants, grocery, markets, and other shops were nearby.

The location was excellent, rooms were comfy, the view was great, the BBQ was good, and the place stayed clean.

“Staycation”

The 2 bedroom suite offered a stunning view, and the staff were friendly—especially Carol, who was very helpful. The only downside was that the king size bed in the room felt too hard.

We stayed in a balcony room and loved watching the waves from there; the location was simply beautiful. The staff were kind and hospitable, and they handled turtle nesting season well. The beach section was not very crowded, which was lovely. However, the bed was uncomfortable, and the AC unit had issues: it kept dripping all night when the fan was off, and although the thermostat worked, the room felt warmer than the set temperature. As a light sleeper, I slept poorly because of this.
