Facilities accommodated all types of stays. A little short on supplies in the room but I went down to the desk and got what I needed.

The rooms were nice and comfortable; we didn’t get a 2‑queen room, so they gave us two separate rooms instead, which worked well. The location is great, though a breakfast would have been nice. The TV in the room didn’t work properly.

The staff were genuinely friendly and our room was huge, bright and spotless, with a TV, fridge, microwave, a little kitchen nook, balcony and a queen‑size bed – the grounds around the hotel are beautiful and sit right next to a big park. Unfortunately the on‑site restaurant was closed, there was no breakfast, and the nearest cafés didn’t open until about 10 am, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the site, and the Wi‑Fi was constantly dropping and painfully slow.

The suite itself was fantastic – the bed was super comfy, the room felt modern with a rustic touch, and the pool and hot tub were a nice bonus; staff were courteous and made us feel welcome. The only hiccup was the restaurant being under construction, but that didn’t really bother us.
