The lady who welcomed us was very friendly, tried to speak English with us, and made sure we sanitized our hands, which I found perfectly acceptable; the onsens are amazing. Being from the West, I found it hard to sleep on the floor, but the room was actually very comfortable and spacious.

The location was decent and the rooms were cute. The staff were not at all pleasant; check‑in was at 17:00, the bathroom was inconvenient, and the hotel lady asked me to sanitize my hands in a very unfriendly manner as if I were dirty.

The price was very low, it felt like a traditional Japanese house, and I had a great time. The outdoor bath was nice, but it was too hot, especially during summer, which could be tough.

The hot springs are great, you can soak yourself, it feels like a private bath! There were some small insects, hope they can improve that.
