“Un home stay que je recommande si on cherche la simplicité et le rapport qualité prix.”
A simple room that’s clean and comfortable, plus quiet. The garden is very nice for enjoying the local vibe. The rooster.

Close to the manager, authentic. We’re in a more remote area, so there’s no hot water.

The breakfast was okay. Many reviews claim this place is great value, but I totally disagree. We’ve stayed at several other places in the same or lower price range that were MUCH better. Here we had: no hot water, no sink in the room, no proper shower, a broken door lock, you could see inside from outside which made changing clothes uncomfortable, and only one power outlet far from the bed. Overall, this place doesn’t offer good value for the price compared to other options in the area.

The owner is charming, very helpful and attentive, and she prepared breakfast at 5:30 because we were being picked up for an excursion. The bed is comfortable. However, there is no hot water and the bathroom lacks a sink; there is a shared area for all guests to brush their teeth.

The welcome was nice, the area is lovely with friendly neighbours who just say hello, and the room is spacious with no outside noise at all. It’s only a few minutes drive from the centre, and the owner’s family can drive you for a fair negotiated price (or there’s a driver on the opposite side of the street). We loved the breakfast too. The toilet is now a flushing one. After a multi‑day trip to Komodo National Park, this was the perfect spot to rest. It’s a 10/15 minute walk from a large street market (mostly fruit and veggies) and from a pharmacy where you can find a real doctor. Nothing to complain about; it was perfect.
