I was impressed by the deep cleaning, the kindness of the lady I spoke to on the phone, and how spacious the room was. The only downside was having to leave the room at 9 am and the breakfast, which consisted of a drink and a food item at a bar a short distance from the property.

The new building sits right in the heart of Castelmezzano. The owner was genuinely kind and welcoming, giving us all the information we needed. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast bar was nearby. Everything was lovely, in a stunning place like the Dolomiti Lucane.
“Appartamento grande ma privo di molte cose essenziali”
Nothing was available in the kitchen, not even a couple of cutlery pieces. The property lacked air conditioning, and the fan in the room was noisy and ineffective, so we couldn’t sleep because of the heat. The location is very far from any parking area, making it inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage.

The B&B was gorgeous, welcoming, and impeccably clean. The owner, Mrs. Nunzia, was very friendly, helpful, and charming. The location was perfect, surrounded by a lovely village by day and a magical setting by night.
