A lovely, well‑maintained guesthouse, but walking to the restaurants in the evening is far from the charming Franschhoek center, although it’s close to the tram. We had to wait a long time for the scrambled eggs at breakfast and were already on pins.

The rooms at La Réverie were newly renovated, making the stay feel like a home‑like living room; the garden with the swimming pool and lounge chairs is gorgeous. I’d recommend this guesthouse, especially since it’s only a few steps from the wine tram.

Very comfortable and an easy walk to everything. The staff were incredibly accommodating and gave us the best packed breakfast for our early departure to the airport. Nothing.

In a word: WOW! The stay was stunning—the room was gorgeous, ultra‑luxurious and meticulously prepared, every detail was spot‑on and thoughtfully considered. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, the breakfast was delicious, and the place feels like a tiny luxury haven where you can fully relax, fitting perfectly with the charming vibe of the surrounding vineyards. The location is ideal; you can easily walk to the Wine Tram terminal and several cozy nearby restaurants. The experience exceeded all our expectations, so don’t look any further—La Réverie truly has everything (and more).
