“Perfect, magical stay!”
The room and bathroom were wonderful, and with only two suites available it felt like a private house boat. The staff were attentive and made everything easy. The Nigeen lake is peaceful and spectacular, just a 10‑minute walk from central Srinagar.
The stay was perfect, with a serene view and very hospitable and respectful staff. All was perfect, leaving no room for improvement.
It gives a typical Kashmiri feel. Yusuf bhai, the manager/caretaker, is a very good host. The location is strategic, and overall it was a very good experience. Staying at Nigeen lake is better because Dal Lake is very crowded. We had a great Shikara ride from Nigeen.

The location was lovely, very serene and pretty. The stay was great, but the highlight was the hospitality from our host Junaid, who was very accommodating, patient, and helpful. Thanks for such a great trip! Yusuf, the caretaker, was available throughout our stay. We can't wait to return. Visiting during a heatwave made the houseboat super hot because not all parts had fans or ACs—a seasonal issue.
