Marco and Cio were both wonderful hosts, offering recommendations on activities and dining, present yet unobtrusive, and proactive in resolving any minor issues; the room was small but sufficient, with an excellent bathroom and a balcony, the surrounding grounds were beautiful, we heard Cio singing in the garden while working, a charming place to stay. Be aware the room is up two flights of stairs—no problem, just a note for those with mobility concerns; the shower head needs replacing, and a power strip on either side of the bed would be nice.

The old villa on the park‑like grounds and the friendly landlords.

Nice old mansion, beautiful garden, good location within walking distance of the lake and restaurants, owners very helpful and friendly. For a B&B, the owners could make a much better effort on the breakfast. They have two rooms in the house where they also live themselves, and that shows in the rooms where most of the closets are used to store their stuff – not a big problem, just be aware. There are mosquitoes in the garden and no nets for the windows, so you may need repellent.
