“Lovely staff, accommodation very run down, but clean .”
The bedding and room were clean, but there was no comfort; the carpets were badly strained and the room was cold.

There were too many stairs, and the room above the bar was noisy until late. No food was included, and the stairs were a real hassle.

The location is very close to the ferry port, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Full Breakfast was charged extra and the continental options were limited. The room needed urgent repairs: bedside lights were unusable—one had no toggle at all, the other only a tiny string; there were no sockets near the beds, and one socket was taped with silver tape. The room was directly above the bar, and the noise was unbearable, sounding like a party that went on until 12.30 am—perhaps quieter if it weren’t a Saturday night. The bed was a very small double.

The hosts were charming and lovely, and I slept well after arriving late on the ferry. The place is within walking distance from the ferry, and I had no issues at all.

The place is friendly and well‑located. The shower/bath in the triple room is only suitable for someone about 3 ft tall.
